Corpus Christi Chicana Muralist and Artist Mayra Zamora is featured in the second episode as the city ambassador for Corpus Christi. “Laredo Taco Company (LTC) has embodied the spirit of bringing others up by shining a light to different types of artisans in Texas,” stated Zamora. “Comida es Arte, Food is Art!  The synergy of showcasing authentic tacos and art in this series was a natural fit. This screening is special to me because it’s airing during the end of Latino Heritage Month. There are a lot of us pushing to bring Chicano and Latino culture to the fore-front, whether it be through art, food, or music.”
